Soccer - Korean Popular Sport

Soccer has significant popularity in South Korea. Soccer is a sport played between two teams, each consisting of eleven players. 


The goal of the game is to score as many goals as possible by throwing the ball into the opponent's goal. The game is played for 90 minutes, divided into 2 halves of 45 minutes each (excluding extra time).

Soccer is very popular around the world and is considered the most popular sport in the world and also in Korea. One of the factors for the popularity of soccer in Korea is the K-League. This league is the premier professional soccer league in South Korea.
