Daily Conversation: Where Do You Live?

In learning Korean, it is important to be able to have daily conversations. One common question used to start a conversation is "어디 살아요?" (eodi salayo?), which means "Where do you live?"

This question is useful for learning location-related vocabulary and gaining insight into Korean culture and manners. To respond to this question, we can use simple sentences such as "저는 (city name)에 살아요" (jeoneun [city name]e salayo), meaning "I live in (city name)."

These types of conversations help us practice using everyday vocabulary and establish a foundation for politely conveying personal information. By integrating these questions into Korean language learning, we not only enhance our speaking skills, but also gain a better understanding of effective communication in everyday Korean culture.

Here are some common dialogs used when asking for a place to live

A: 어디에 거주하시나요?

A: Where do you live?
